The City of Beaconsfield, situated on the shores of Lac St-Louis, offers its residents many water access points for non-motorized watercraft.
The municipality has the following water access ramps to be used by the public to access the lake:
- Corner of Angell and Lakeshore
- Corner of Lakeview and Lakeshore (permit required for non-motorized watercraft requiring a trailer, see below)
- Corner of St-Louis and Lakeshore
Swimming is prohibited at all times.
Lakeview non-motorized boat access program
Access to the water ramp at the corner of Lakeview and Lakeshore.
For non-motorized watercraft requiring a trailer only.
A permit is required to pass through the gate to access the boat launch.
Cost of permit: $100 for the current year
Key: $100 deposit required
Documents required:
Photo and registration certificate of the boat
Proof of residence (e.g. driver's licence, Hydro-Québec or telecommunication company bill)
Quebec driving licence
You must present yourself in person at the permit counter in City Hall, 303 Beaconsfield Blvd. Beaconsfield during opening hours, Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to noon.

Don't spend all summer strapping your kayak to the roof of your car every time you want to take it out on the water. Instead, rent a space by the water at Centennial Park, St. Louis Park New or Lakeview Park New !
From June 1 to October 15, 2024, residents will be able to store their kayak or canoe on storage racks provided by the City. The storage fee is $50 for the season.
You can reserve your space in person at the Recreation Centre as of Sunday May 12 at 10 a.m. Please note that spaces are limited, and proof of residency will be required.
