Holiday Schedule

Schedule: The administrative offices are closed from 23 December to 3 January inclusive. For the Library and Recreation Centre schedule, click here.

Water and waste bill: The interest-free payment date has been extended to January 23, 2025.

For an immediate intervention by Public Works or by Municipal Patrol, please contact 514 428-5999, available 24 hours, 7 days. For emergencies, call 911.

Collection: Collection will take place as scheduled on Thursdays. If your bin has not been collected, please contact collectes-collection@beaconsfield.ca by 10:30 a.m. the following day.

Rules and Regulations and By-laws governing Facility use

  • Music (Live or recorded) must be contained within the building and is not permitted outside. 

  • Barbecues are not permitted.

  • It is strictly forbidden to attach anything to the walls or woodwork with tape, tacks, nails or staples. 

  • The Lessee assumes full responsibility for maintaining law and order on the premises.  Individuals behaving in a disorderly or illegal manner will be required to leave the premises. 

  • The rental space must be left in the same condition as it was found; tables and chairs stored; garbage collected and disposed of in the containers outdoors. 

  • The Lessee is responsible for any damage to or misuse of City property by his/her group, delegates or agencies and will be invoiced accordingly. 

  • The Lessee is responsible for all first aid and emergency treatment of those injured during their activities unless arrangements have been made with the City for first aid attendant services. 

  • City policy prohibits the use of City buildings or facilities by any pressure group, political group or a petition seeker 

  • The Lessee agrees to observe any public authority’s regulations, municipal, provincial or federal and recognizes that City employees on duty have the authority to enforce these regulations. 

  • The Lessee agrees to respect the maximum number of people permitted within each room and  comply with fire safety regulations. 

  • The Lessee and any person of his/her group agree to respect provincial anti-smoking law PROHIBITING SMOKING in all public spaces. 

  • The Lessee agrees to respect municipal By-law BEAC-033 governing public nuisance and excessive noise after 10 p.m.  All sound must be kept to a level which will not disturb other users of the facility or the surrounding neighbourhood. 

  • The Lessee agrees to comply with By-Law BEAC-033 which prohibits alcoholic beverages on public property without the necessary permit. 

  • Authorization is required to sell or distribute any article on City Property. 

  • The Lessee is aware that the City is not responsible for failure to meet its obligations due to causes beyond its direct control including but not limited, to civil emergencies and uprising, legal or illegal strike, or any action from federal, provincial or municipal authorities.  Full reimbursement will be awarded. 

  • The City reserves the right; by resolution of Council, at any time, for any reason, to annul or cancel with 48 hours notice any or all of the rental should this be required for municipal use.  Full reimbursement of fees paid will be awarded. 

  • The City may cancel the rental contract without prior notice and free itself from any obligations if the Lessee does not respect any condition of the rental agreement 

  • The City is not responsible for damages, accident or injury to individuals using its facilities under the auspices of a Lessee nor is it responsible for the loss of or damage to property belonging to any individual. 

  • The Lessee shall indemnify the City against, and hold harmless the City from, any and all claims, actions, suits, proceedings, judgements, loss, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities, including legal fees, whether for personal injury, including injury resulting in death, or loss of, or damage to property, arising out of, connected with, or resulting from the lease, occupation or use of the leased premises, or of the doors, stairways, corridors or other parts of the building in which the leased premises are situated.  The City reserves the right to demand, as a condition precedent to leasing the premises, evidence of applicant’s insurance coverage, in amounts, with an insurer and with comprehensive coverage acceptable to the City. 
  • To serve alcohol during your rental, first verify with the City that it is permitted. Once confirmation from the City is obtained, complete the online RACJ form.  All costs associated with a RACJ permit are the responsibility of the person / organization renting the premises. 

Facilities and reservation details

Centennial Hall

Centennial Hall is the City's cultural centre in which arts and language courses, workshops, special events, exhibitions and concerts take place. This beautiful waterfront building is home to a number of the community's cultural groups. Centennial Hall is also available, on occasion, for private rentals.

The rental space includes: 

Two Rooms: Lounge and Boardroom; one bar area (7’ X 3’); 2 washrooms (one of which is wheelchair accessible) and a coat room; tables and chairs. 

Note: There are no kitchen facilities.

Herb Linder Annex

Access to this facility is from the western end of the City Hall parking. In addition to activities organized by the city, the Annexe is used by community and cultural associations recognized by the city.
