Open house: climate and community resilience
Join us for an informal day of practical tips on how to better protect your home and family from the effects of climate change (flooding, extended power outages and falling trees).
There will be guest speakers, themed stalls, discussions and advice to help you better prepare for these weather-related events.
Presentations will be held in the Library’s Discovery room.
- 2 p.m.: Preparing at home: a citizen’s experience
- 4 p.m.: Preparing for the future: flood resilience
- 6:30 p.m.: Preparing Together: The Power of Neighbours in Climate Resilience
Translation available with Wordly for these conferences.
The presentations will be recorded and made available for later viewing on our YouTube channel.
