Discussion groups and public consultation: Universal accessibility

Community October 1, 2024

One city for all: We need your input!

Did you know that nearly 17% of the Quebec population aged 15 and over has one or more significant disabilities, which make them more prone to encountering issues while carrying out everyday activities? These disabilities can be visual, auditory, motor, intellectual, behavioural, or cognitive. They may be visible or invisible.

Tell us what you think!

We would like to hear from citizens and users with one or more disabilities, or who have a dependent with a disability, about the accessibility of the facilities and services offered by the City of Beaconsfield.

You can have your say in two ways:

  • Through our online citizen consultation (mistakenly published as being available through bciti+ in the September issue of Contact)
  • Through focus groups, to be held on October 18 and 23. Sign up

To learn more about specific actions taken by the City of Beaconsfield, consult our 2023 Action plan for persons with disabilities
